Welcome back-New Term!!

We hope you all had a great holiday and enjoyed the break.

We would like to welcome all old and new parents back to Daisy Chains ready for the new term! Wishing you all happy New Year. All the staff would like to thank you all for the lovely gifts and cards. We would like to welcome all the new children who have joined this term. The Nativity

Thank you all for attending the nativity and for all your donations, we have used the money to buy new toys.

Named Clothing

Please can we remind all parents to name their children’s coats, hats etc. This will help with any confusion and to ensure they don’t get misplaced or lost.

Change of Contact Forms

We recently sent out new Contact Forms for you to update your personal details to enable us to maintain our child records.

Please can parents who haven’t yet brought the forms back do so as soon as possible, to allow our records to stay in conjunction with our safeguarding policy, as parental contacts are very important in case of illness or an emergency. Thank you.

This term the Lions room topic is about Space please can you encourage your child to explore at home and at night to look in the sky to see stars and moon.

Tigers room topic is Weather where the children will do lots of fun things.

Cubs room topic is Transport where they will do lots of fun things.

Birth Certificates

Please could the parents of children who receive the Government NEG and Think 2 funding please bring in their child’s birth certificates.

We need a copy for our records as legal documentation to provide proof that we are claiming for correct children etc as we do have regular audits from the council.

If the birth certificates aren’t present then the funding for your child is likely to be cancelled and you may be asked to pay back any previous payments.

This is why we are constantly asking you for a copy to ensure this never happens. Thank you for your co-operation.

Partnership with Parents

Please can we remind parents that we value each of your children and that their development and welfare is our priority, in order to help the children achieve as best as we can, we would like you to please fill in and return our Sparkle leaves. Your child’s key person will give these out to you on a half term basis.
